Maker Day is one of Advent students' favorite traditions. Kids choose from a variety of STEM and STEAM options and have a blast designing, experimenting, creating, trying new things, and learning!

Selected from a nationwide search, Zina and her fellow council members will learn from The Week Junior’s editors, mentors, and special guests over the next several months, where they will gain the necessary skills to become influential voices in their communities and beyond.

Social-emotional learning (SEL) is the process of developing skills that help people manage their emotions, build relationships, and make responsible decisions, skills that can help people succeed in school, work, and life.

While the world waits on the upcoming Youth Media Awards Press Conference, Advent students spent this week voting for their favorite nominated children’s picture book!
