This April Break, following the excitement and inspiration of the Olympic Games in Italy, our campus will come alive with a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and movement. Young athletes, designers, and innovators will step into the role of both competitor and creator—imagining, building, and bringing to life entirely new ways to play.

Throughout the week, students will work in teams to invent original sports, reimagine classic games, and design the rules, equipment, and environments that make each experience unique. Using principles of design thinking and hands-on engineering, they’ll sketch ideas, prototype equipment, test their creations, and refine them through collaboration and feedback. Every voice matters, and every idea has the potential to shape the next great game.

Movement is at the heart of it all. From fast-paced challenges to skill-based competitions, students will stay active as they explore what makes a game exciting, inclusive, and fun. They’ll think not only about how games are played, but who they are for—building experiences that invite participation, teamwork, and joy.

The week culminates in a spirited series of Olympic-style events, where teams showcase their newly invented sports and compete in a celebration of creativity, perseverance, and play. It’s a chance for students to experience the thrill of competition while also taking pride in what they’ve imagined and built together.
