Celebrate La Semana del Español!
La Semana del Español highlights Advent's Spanish program! Parents/caregivers visit campus to see presentations from First through Sixth Grades. ECC and Kindergarten students sing songs and play games en Enspañol.
During Spanish Week, students share their knowledge about a country or Spanish-speaking region. This year, Spanish Week will celebrate the people, culture, and language of Colombia, which the students have been studying in class.
Below is the schedule for La Semana del Español, and it is also posted on Blackbaud as a Resource Board and on the Advent Google Calendar, which is the same as the Blackbaud calendar.
Tuesday, March 14:
ECC*: 8:30-9 a.m. in the Atelier
1B + 1/2 of Fourth: 1:15-2 p.m. in the Movement Room
1C + 1/2 of Fourth: 2:15-3 p.m. in the Movement Room
Wednesday, March 15:
KC*: 8:30-9 a.m. in the Atelier
Second & Fifth: 2:15-3 p.m. in the Movement Room
Thursday, March 16:
KB*: 8:30-9 a.m. in the Atelier
Third & Sixth: 2:15-3 p.m. in the Movement Room
*ECC and Kindergarten parents/caregivers are invited to the Atelier for coffee (BYO coffee!) and conversation before their child's Spanish Week presentations!
