Advent’s 28-Day Meditation Adventure returns!

After pausing for a year, Marlene Boyette, Advent’s Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher, in collaboration with our current Fifth and Sixth Grade students, will launch the sixth annual Advent School Mindfulness & Self-Care Adventure on Tuesday February 1, 2022, shifting the focus from Meditation to Mindfulness and Self Care.

Taking into account the impact of the last year, as we all continue to navigate life during a global pandemic, Ms. Boyette has pivoted, making daily mindfulness and self-care the center of the yoga curriculum at Advent, encouraging students to think about how they can experience more ease and a sense of calm in their daily lives, in and outside of school. The shift in this year’s “28 Day Mindfulness & Self-Care Adventure” aims to encourage students and families to create a similar experience at home.

This is an invitation extended to the entire Advent School community. By committing to mindful approaches each day, we create more space for self-care and deeper connections, with ourselves and others.
