Advent’s Community Story Walk

On November 9, 2021, we hosted the first Advent Community Story Walk! The Story Walk was the first Advent Piazza event of the school year. This year, the Advent Piazza theme is "The Roots of Our Community.” Learn more about the Advent Piazza here.

Images and documents from our archives were on display for families to “walk our history.” All together they tell the story of a day in the life of The Advent School. Throughout all the years there are many constants including Advent traditions, mission related events, and utilizing the city of Boston as our classroom. It was wonderful to learn more about Advent’s history and connect in person with so many friends and families.

As we embark on our 60th anniversary journey this year, we will continue to honor our past, celebrate our present and strengthen our future.

Advent Alum enjoyed the Story Walk and seeing all of the changes to the School. Overall, however, they said, “it feels exactly the same!”
