Support Advent’s Mission

The Advent School strives to create a culture of engagement where each member contributes—by volunteering or donating funds, for example—at their capacity. As with most independent schools, tuition revenue alone does not cover the whole cost of educating each student. The Advent School is a gift-supported institution and relies on charitable giving and volunteerism to sustain the financial health and vitality of our School.

For questions about contributing to Advent’s mission and vision, please contact Erin Webb, Director of Development, at (617) 742-0520 x 55.

A Culture of Engagement

Donations to the School have a direct impact on each person at The Advent School. The Advent Annual Fund is Advent’s top fundraising priority. Gifts to the Annual Fund provide the critical, current-use, and unrestricted dollars the School needs to sustain the student experience and faculty, maintain our historical home, and provide support to the area of greatest need.

Gifts to the Annual Fund support:

Each year, the School strives for a high level of participation from the Board of Trustees, faculty, staff, and current parent communities. Parent participation in the Annual Fund makes an enormous impact on each student’s experience and symbolizes the collective investment in the School’s excellence.

A high level of current parent participation also supports funding through grants and corporate sponsorship opportunities. Advent also solicits gifts from alumni, families of alumni, friends of the School, and grandfriends to allow all constituents a chance to support the School. A gift to the Annual Fund may be tax deductible, while tuition payment is not. Unrestricted gifts to the Annual Fund give the School the greatest flexibility and are our number one priority.
