Exploring big topics about identity and equity with our children may seem foreign to us, but the reality is we do it every day. Learning to lean in and help our children become the most authentic humans they can be starts with us as parents and educators. Together, we will explore how understanding ourselves can help our children understand who they are. This event is open to all.
This event has been rescheduled for the fall. Please contact email@example.com with questions, or to be added to the mailing list.
Dr. Liza Talusan will use Jordan Peele’s incredible film Get Out as a metaphor for the lives of people of color in independent schools through an exploration of symbols in the film – the sunken place, the silver spoon and hypnosis; Georgina; the camera flash, and cotton. This event is open to all.
