Parent meetings begin in October 2018 for families interested in fall 2019 entry. A parent appointment with our Director of Enrollment Management provides an opportunity to ask your questions about our program and share information about your child as a learner. We continue to accept applications for the 2019-20 school year on a rolling admission cycle.
The application for Fall 2019 entry will be available on Friday, September 7, 2018. It is due by Tuesday, January 15, 2019.

When you arrive at the page you will be asked to create an account, at which point you will be able to look up The Advent School in Ravenna’s School Directory and complete the application. Teacher Recommendation & School Report Deadline
The Teacher Recommendation Form is available online through your Ravenna account. You will be prompted to input an email address for your child’s teacher. If you are not completing the online application, please contact Sarah Thompson-Kablik, Director of Enrollment Management, for paper copies of the Teacher Recommendation Form.
Report cards or progress notes can be uploaded directly to Ravenna by your child’s current school or sent directly to Advent’s Office of Admission via email.
All School materials are due by Tuesday, January 15, 2019.
Upon receipt of your application, we will contact you to schedule a mutually convenient classroom visit. ECC and Kindergarten applicants visit twice: for an individual play based assessment (30 minutes) and for a classroom visit on Saturday, January 26, 2019 (1 hour). First and Second Grade applicants visit for half a day (8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) and Third through Sixth Grade applicants visit for the whole school day (8:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.).
All School visits should be completed by February 2019.
Advent requires the Parent Financial Statement submitted online to the School and Student Services at sss.nais.org, copies of most recent (2017) Federal Income Tax Returns, year-end pay stubs, and 1099/W2s be submitted to: The Advent School, Attention Office of Admission. Financial Assistance applications and all supporting documents are due by Friday, February 8, 2019.
Admission decisions will be made pending available enrollment within the applicant’s grade. Decisions will be mailed home once all requirements are completed and reviewed, on a rolling basis.
Families will be notified of their child’s admission decision via Ravenna on Friday, March 8, 2019. Decision letters are mailed then as well.
